Meet the Doctors: Dr. Kaplan and Dr. Dao 

"I love using my talents to bring about positive, lasting changes in the lives of my patients, and quite literally, giving them a reason to smile," says Dr. Kaplan. With a passion for orthodontics that was instilled in her at a young age, Dr. Kaplan has dedicated her career to helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.

After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Biomedical Science at La Sierra University in Riverside, California, Dr. Kaplan went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Science from Loma Linda University, where she was a top graduate. She then completed her orthodontic residency at Loma Linda, where she earned her Master's degree.

Dedicated to staying at the forefront of the latest advancements in orthodontics, Dr. Kaplan participates in online webinars, attends the annual meetings of the American Association of Orthodontics, and takes part in Invisalign and Damon Forum seminars. When she's not working, Dr. Kaplan enjoys spending time at the gym, hiking, mountain biking, and snowboarding with her family.

Dr. Dao has a personal connection to orthodontics that sets him apart from other orthodontists. Growing up in Saginaw, Michigan, Dr. Dao was shy and timid due to the appearance of his teeth. However, after getting braces in college, he found that he finally had the confidence to smile and show off his teeth.

This experience was transformative for Dr. Dao, and he went on to become an orthodontist so that he could help other patients achieve the same confidence and self-esteem that he gained from his orthodontic treatment.

In his free time, Dr. Dao is an avid rock climber, an amateur chef, and a loving father. He and his wife, Lisa, recently moved back to Colorado to set down roots and be an active part of their community.
